Yulia Rozen

 

Yulia received a B.Sc. from the Kharkiv National University, Ukraine, and a M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. After completing her M.Sc., she worked as a medicinal chemist at Hadassah Hospital at Jerusalem where she was involved in the preparation and development of biologically active compounds such as Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-Tyrosine Kinase (EGFR-TK) inhibitors for molecular imaging in cancer. Prior to joining KPU in 2013, Yulia worked as a radiopharmaceutical chemist at BC Cancer Agency and TRIUMF and as a research and teaching assistant at SFU.

In her spare time, Yulia enjoys reading, hiking, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
