Please be advised below of the following processing guidelines during the Canada Post strike action.
Receiving Transcripts From Other Post-Secondary Institutions
KPU has several electronic trading partners within BC. If your institution offers electronic transcript delivery, please use this method.
For all other Canadian post-secondary institutions, KPU will temporarily accept transcripts emailed directly from a pre-established institutional email address from the Registrar’s Office. Official transcripts should be scanned, including the back page, and emailed to admissions@kpu.ca.
For post-secondary transcripts from outside Canada, we recommend use of courier. Out-of-country requirements can be found at www.kpu.ca/admission/out-of-country. Send to KPU Admissions, 12666 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 2M8.
Sending Transcripts to Other Institutions
Hard copies can be ordered for pick up at Surrey Campus. Students are welcome to make their own courier arrangements. We will make the transcripts available at Student Enrolment Services on our Surrey Campus for courier pickup – please indicate the arrangements on your Official Transcript Request.
If the destination of your transcript is a Canadian post-secondary institution, we can send a copy electronically in the interim. When the postal strike is over, KPU will send paper copies of electronic transcripts issued during the postal strike.
Submission of High School Transcripts
BC grade 12 students should request their transcripts be submitted electronically to KPU through the StudentTranscriptsService (STS): https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/transcripts-and-certificates. Ensure they select “Send Interim and Final Marks when they become available” and use the default date indicated under ‘allow this post-secondary institution to request updates until the date specified below’ - this should post-date the anticipated start date of their studies at KPU.
We accept transcripts emailed (admissions@kpu.ca) or faxed (604-599-2086) directly from Canadian secondary schools, or the Ministry of Education in each province. We may also accept the originals if brought into our office in its original sealed/stamped envelope.
For high school transcripts from outside Canada, we recommend use of courier. Out-of-country requirements can be found at www.kpu.ca/admission/out-of-country. Send to KPU Admissions, 12666 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 2M8.
