Vanessa Rodriguez, Instrumentation Technician, NAIT | Current Role: Engineering Technician
Vanessa Rodriguez has over 8 years of experience as an instrumentation technician in the oil/gas and paper/pulp industries. She transitioned to the semiconductor industry 4 years ago and currently works as an R&D engineering technician in the Advanced Development department at MKS.
Mahsa Mahtab, PhD in Electrical Engineering, UVic | Current Role: Senior Test Engineer
Mahsa Mahtab earned her PhD from UVic and has worked in various engineering roles, including at Microchip in Burnaby. She began as a Project Engineer in an incubator company and is now a senior test engineer at MKS, where she has been for the past year.
Chantal Osterman, BSc in Systems Specialization, SFU | Current Role: Reliability Engineer
Chantal Osterman started as a test engineer and has 2 years of experience in the telecom and smart tech industries. She moved to the semiconductor industry 4.5 years ago and has spent the last 3 years at MKS as a Reliability Engineer, with plans to transition to a Systems Engineer role.
Achini Udaratayalage, BSc in Mechatronics Systems, SFU | Current Role: Mechanical Engineer
Achini Udaratayalage began her career with co-op terms in clean tech, automation, and aviation industries. After graduating from SFU, she joined the semiconductor industry and has been with MKS for 2 years, first as a Graduate Engineer and now as a Mechanical Engineer.
Linda Coutts, BSc in Psychology, minor Sociology, York University | Current Role: HR Manager
Linda Coutts has over 25 years of HR experience across various industries, including music, retail, construction, and manufacturing. She has been an HR manager at MKS for the last 2.5 years.
