My time at KPU has been an adventure. I enrolled in the Employment and Community Studies (EACS) program, where my prior work experience allowed me to provide peer support on work skills and career exploration.

Despite some challenges during the required work placements, I learned about self-advocacy and the importance of accessibility. My second placement led to a paid student position at KPU. One of the program's themes focuses on Disability Rights and Social Justice inspired me to pursue a career in advocacy and inclusion for people with disabilities.

In my second year, I joined the EACS Entrepreneurial Focus Cohort, learning about all the different ways you can grow your ideas into a entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial venture – creating a small business.

My final project involved creating a Study Space for EACS students, and I hope to establish a permanent study space for people with disabilities on KPU campuses.
