The SRIG provided an amazing opportunity to experience what the real-life research scene is like. It was this program that allowed me to experience what it is like to develop and present research to such a wider range of people. Learning the budget planning, participant selection, and conference presentation aspects of science was such an amazing experience. I encourage anyone who has the means to try and take advantage of this opportunity.
