The KPU Student Research and Innovation Grant (SRIG) has been immensely supportive in funding the research materials needed for me to explore the feasibility of pairing solar panels with growing the shade-tolerant Bok choy crop in a dual-purpose use of land. I was able to obtain valuable data from the funded materials, which otherwise would have imposed a personal financial burden. I highly recommend for students to apply for this grant to help fund their research & innovation projects that are trying to bring solutions and answers to today’s most pressing issues.
