Fernando first came to KPU in 2017 while studying Music on an exchange from Brazil. His experience at the university inspired him to stay and complete his second degree in Political Science. The meaningful connections with faculty he made while engaging in the KPU community have encouraged Fernando to improve his interpersonal relationships and become more assertive with his self-expression. He now works for the Faculty of Arts in the Dean’s Office, plays in multiple bands and continues to acquire the confidence to better engage with his peers.
