For my honours project, I needed to gather a large pool of participants. I feel extremely grateful for SRIG funding my research because they made this happen! Most of the funding was used to compensate participants for their time. Not only was the target number of participants collected but the data came from a diverse population base as I was able to recruit from various platforms. This led to interesting findings and increased generalizability of my findings. Additionally, I used the funding to pay for registration fees to student conferences, Connecting Minds and NOWCAM. I would recommend KPU students to apply for SRIG to truly enhance their research experience!
