As a Health Sciences student, this was a great opportunity to gain lab experience. Unlike a regular course, this was something you could do on your own time, at your own pace. You don’t feel pressured to get everything done, and if you choose the Stream 1 project, you can get paid for it! If you are a Biology or a Health Sciences student, I highly recommend applying for this if you plan on taking the independent research project. It is wonderful preparation and allows you to get oriented in the lab!
