With the support of the Student Research and Innovation Grant (SRIG) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), I was able to explore the experiences, challenges and benefits faced by KPU criminology students and criminology faculty in synchronous, asynchronous, and blended classes after COVID-19. The SRIG allowed me to gather many students for my study, which helped contribute to such rich and insightful findings that could not have been uncovered otherwise. I am excited to see how my research will be considered to improve student learning within the criminology department at KPU going beyond COVID-19.
