Lulu T., Biology
Completing my senior research project in plant genetics was a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity! It would not have been possible without the SRIG program and the hard-working people who made this possible for KPU students! The financial support provided many resources used in my research. I was also able to improve my skills in research planning and public speaking, which in turn fostered a greater sense of confidence in my ability to conduct biological studies.
Since then, my research has contributed to the local scene of ornamental plant breeding and agriculture. I’m truly grateful for this level of academic support, and to have had the privilege to grow my passion in botany. Hopefully, future students can enjoy this experience too!
