This was an incredibly challenging and rewarding project, and was made possible by my amazing supervisors, Amanda Champion and Cory Pedersen. The initial phase of the project was smooth, gathering literature and developing research questions. This changed once our methodology began to be developed, and it took some time to ensure we were making the right decision. We had to trust one another that we were headed in the right direction, and I am grateful and empowered by the trust put in me by my supervisors. Survey development was difficult for me, and I needed help with several questionnaires, and I learned just how careful one must be when revising existing psychological measures. Data collection was smooth, and we were accepted to APS 2024 to present the project. Now we are finished with a completed paper that we have submitted for the CPA award and a successful poster presentation at a conference.
