When I first came to KPU, I didn’t know what route I wanted to take for my career. After taking a few courses in psychology and criminology, it was obvious that those are the subjects that interested me the most. I began working towards my degree in the Bachelor of Applied Arts program with a major in psychology and a minor in criminology. Upon learning of the honours program, I knew this was a goal that I wanted to achieve before my degree was complete to allow me to conduct research in my field of study. The knowledge that I obtained throughout the course of my degree, the relationships that I made, and the experiences that had are unmatched. KPU and its instructors have prepared me for the future while providing me ample opportunities to succeed throughout my degree and beyond.
