Who are Journalism Students?
Students who are curious and interested in their communities and in the larger world tend to succeed in journalism. Studying journalism and communications allows a broad range of interests, ranging from politics and environmental issues, to sports and entertainment, to be represented.
Successful students have strong English-language skills and a passion for telling interesting stories in a compelling way.
Our grads work for online or print publications as reporters, photojournalists, or researchers. They also successfully apply the skills they have learned in journalism studies to other professions including media relations and communications specialists.
Be sure to check out our alumni page for more student success stories.
