Dr. Patrick Findler earned his BA from Simon Fraser University, and his MA and PhD from the University of California, Davis. His teaching and research interests are in ethics, the philosophy of sport, and metaphysics. He co-authored (with Dr. Doran Smolkin and Dr. Warren Bourgeois) the book, Debating Health Care Ethics: Canadian Contexts, now entering its 3rd edition. His current research focuses mainly on ethical issues in dangerous sport. Dr. Findler will be a Visiting Scholar at the University of Rome “Foro Italico” for the 2025/26 academic year.
