Transit Information
For information on transit to or from any of our campuses please contact the TransLink information line at 604.953.3333 or visit the Translink website www.translink.bc.ca
Carpool Information
Kwantlen is committed to reducing the number of single occupancy vehicles (SOVs). Effective January 1, 2002, Car pools will be a minimum of TWO persons arriving together at the same time. Our intention is to provide an easy alternative to people who would consider ride sharing. Additional carpooling resources are available courtesy of the Jack Bell Foundation.
Free Overflow Parking
Kwantlen, in partnership with the City of Surrey Parks, Recreation, and Culture, has arranged for free overflow parking for the Surrey Campus at the Newton Athletic Park. The Newton Athletic Park is located two blocks north of the campus on 128th Street and is available between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Friday.
Campus Safety and Security
Kwantlen is concerned with the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus. Facilities is responsible for security and first aid at all campuses. Security personnel are available to escort any member of the Kwantlen community from campus buildings to their vehicles. Advance notice is appreciated, but not required.
Please report all security incidents either to a Security Officer, Facilities personnel or Manager, Facilities Operations.
There are a number of convenient ways to contact Security and Facilities:
- Telus public telephones with ‘red security’ buttons are located throughout the campus. These buttons will put you in contact with Security personnel. There is no charge for this service.
- Throughout all campuses, (with the exception of Cloverdale), there are yellow boxes with ‘red emergency call buttons’; these two-way speaker phones are answered by Facilities or Security personnel.
