Food evokes memory, identity, and comfort, linking us to our families, cultures, and the land. For Indigenous Peoples, food is more than sustenance—it is a connection to their histories, knowledge systems, and communities. Yet, in most public spaces, Indigenous foods are absent, unacknowledged, or inaccessible. This workshop series will do more than educate—it will set the table for transformation. Sharing Traditional Indigenous foods fosters reflection, conversation, relationships, and increased understanding of culturally significant foods.
