What is a Co-op position? | Employment for students that provides them learning opportunities in their fields of study:

How many hours per week can they work? | Students must not work more than 35 hours per week and must complete a minimum of 420 hours for each full time work term. |
What are the total number of hours they can work? | Minimum 420 hours |
What is the duration of the position? | January - April May - August September - December Students can be hired for one 4-month work term. |
What are the criteria for students? | Students must be from a recognized Co-operative Education Program. |

Please note that as per LOU#1, there will be a maximum of ten students employed university-wide at any one time with the maximum duration of any one placement or work experience not exceeding four months. Where the Employer can demonstrate an educational requirement for more than ten students at any one time the Union will grant agreement for additional Co-operative Education students. |
