Nursing Pathways is an online, self-assessment designed to empower nurses as they reflect on their professional capabilities and chart a path for future grown. The course is centered on helping nurses identify their unique learning needs, understand their strengths, and pinpoint the resources necessary to meet their goals. Through a process of structured self0assessmnet, nurses will build confidence, develop strategies to support their ongoing development, and enhance key competencies. Participants will engage in deep self-reflection and analysis, gaining insight into their practice patterns and areas for improvement. With no direct instruction, the course is entirely self-guided, allowing participants the flexibility to work at their own pace. This course is ideal for nurses in a variety of situations, whether returning to practice after a prolonged break, preparing for a competency assessment, exploring new areas of practice, or planning for future professional development. It serves as a valuable tool for identifying potential competency gaps and creating an individualized plan for ongoing learning and improvement.
Course Format
This is a fully online, self-paced course centered on self-assessment. The time required to complete the self-assessments and suggested educational interventions will vary for each learner, depending on their self-assessment results and the number of recommended interventions. Learners will have 12 weeks to complete the initial self-assessment, engage in educational interventions and finalize the course with a concluding self-assessment.
