Room Booking Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I book my event? 
A. There is an online form that you can fill out.

Q. When would I receive a confirmation about my booking? 
A. We will send you a confirmation within 7 days that we have received your request.

Q. My company is non-profit, is there a discount for renting a room?
A. Yes, we offer a 25% discount for non-profit companies, you will need to provide us with your Non-Profit number.

Q. Will I need to provide proof of Liability Insurance?
A. Yes, we will require that all external events provide a copy of your current 2-million-dollar liability insurance for your event.

Q. How do I pay for my room or event? 
A. We will accept payment for your event by either:

  • Credit card (Visa or MasterCard)
  • Cashiers Cheque

Q. What is the cost of booking a room? 
A. We have a complete list of prices for rooms, classrooms or the conference centre and display tables at KPU.

Q. Does KPU have electronic classrooms? 
A. Yes, we have electronic classrooms available. An electronic classroom comes complete with a overhead projector, ceiling screen and a computer station for the speaker/instructor

Q. Is there pay parking at KPU? 
A. Please check our information about parking, our parking fees are in effect 24/7. For transit schedules, please go to BC Translink

Q. I would like to have my event catered; does KPU have food services?
A. Yes, we have full-service catering on campus. All groups or individuals requiring catering, are required to order catering from our on-site food service provider. Food services menus and prices.

Q. Can we serve liquor at our event? 
A. Please review KPU's policy regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages.
