Who is considered a volunteer?
- KPU volunteers include individuals performing services of their own free will without receiving compensation or other incentives such as money, wages or benefits.
- Prior to the start of the volunteer activity, the department engaging the volunteer must provide him/her with applicable safety information. It is the responsibility of the volunteer's supervisor to ensure the safety orientation has been completed.
