At KPU, not just knowledge is built to every student but also the attitude and skills to care for others with respect and dignity while applying the advanced technology and equipment with updated researches, making you one step ahead among the rest. Additionally, living in Canada is a fun experience where I learn to discover things I have not seen or done before. Aside from appreciating the rich nature, I also learned to associate with people from different cultures. Furthermore, KPU instructors and friends helped me to be confident of myself in facing challenges. Canada is truly a highly suggested place for education.
Noel Victoria
Computer Information Systems Student
After deciding that I want to study in British Columbia, I started searching for the universities that would have the course that I wanted to take — Computer Information Systems. I have been working in the I.T. industry for over 15 years and my previous course was Information Technology, so I wanted to continue my studies in the same field. After researching 4 or 5 universities, I chose KPU. Why? First, the IT program at KPU offers the courses I’m interested in. Second, the location of the university is very convenient. There are campuses in Surrey, Langley and Richmond. Third, it's a polytechnic university, which would give me more hands-on experience while learning compared to other traditional universities. Finally, the student community at KPU is diverse and makes me feel at home!
