FIPPA Compliance at Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Ensures appropriate collection, use, access, disclosure, storage, retention, and disposal of personal information by the university.
- Manages requests for correction of personal information in the custody or under the control of KPU.
- Employs reasonable security arrangements for the protection of personal information in the custody or under the control of KPU.
- Receives and responds to complaints about possible unauthorized collection, use or disclosure of personal information.
Responsibilities
Employees of Kwantlen Polytechnic University are responsible for understanding FIPPA as it relates to their work, including employees of third party service providers.
