Job Description
Power Line Technicians work outside in all types of weather conditions. Individuals must be comfortable with heights as a great deal of work involves climbing and balancing on poles or towers while working. Power Line Technicians day to day responsibilities include installation, maintaining and repairing overhead and underground power lines and cables and other associated equipment such as insulators, conductors, switches and transformers.

Electric power companies, electrical contractors and public utilities are the primary employers of graduates from the program.
