Areas of Interest
I am interested in understanding climate change as a social and political problem. To this end, I'm currently exploring ways of integrating green criminology and science and technology studies.
Recent research includes:
(1) Studying knowledge production in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) through qualitative interviews with IPCC authors and ethnographic observations at Lead Author Meetings for Working Groups I and II in the Sixth Assessment Cycle
(2) Qualitative studies of the near-real-time visualization of Arctic sea ice at the US National Snow and Ice Data Center
(3) How residents in Houston Texas experience their relation to home after being flooded in Hurricane. Click the "Selected publications" link below for more details.
