NOWCAM Conference 2023
When: April 20 - 22, 2023
Where: Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Richmond Campus, 8771 Lansdowne Road, Richmond, BC V6X 3V8
NOWCAM 2023 will kick off at 6 pm on the evening of Thursday, April 20th with a social event at The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill in Richmond (Central at Garden City) with $15 burger and beverage, then will run all day April 21st and part of the day on April 22nd.
The Keynote Speaker will be Mike Caulfield, renowned from his research on helping people tell fiction from fact on social media. In addition to the keynote address, Prof. Caulfield will offer a workshop on the SIFT method for fact checking.
The fee to attend the conference is $30 for students and $60 for faculty.
There will also be a fabulous gala banquet on the evening of April 21 at Gingeri Chinese Cuisine (Lansdowne Centre). Gala tickets are $30 for students and $60 for faculty per person, which includes all costs for a multi-course Chinese banquet (excluding drinks).

Connecting Minds Conference
When: May 12 & 13, 2023

Connecting Minds conference is a bi-annual undergraduate research conference in Psychology hosted by KPU.
It is the furthest reaching undergraduate conference of its kind, drawing researchers from across Canada, the United States and even Europe! Since its inauguration in 2008, Connecting Minds has hosted over 400 presentations representing over 30 schools. CM has an exclusively undergraduate focus, featuring a wide variety of high caliber research. It features both poster and oral presentation mediums.
In addition, CM presents graduate panels, grant application panels, and social events aimed towards the interests of undergraduate students. Regarding keynote speakers, CM has featured several world-renowned keynote speakers such as Drs. Elliot Aronson, Albert Bandura and Elizabeth Loftus, all three recognized among the top 100 most eminent psychologists of the 20th century. We are excited to host Dr. Justin Lehmiller at the 2023 Connecting Minds conference.
