Global Learning Experiences
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is the place to find out more about the international experiences available for credit to all KPU students. KPU has a wide range of opportunities in countries around the world for students from all programs and disciplines for both short and long term travel.
International Exchange
International exchange is coordinated through KPU's network of partner universities around the world. KPU students pay tuition to KPU and remain a KPU student, but attend courses at a partner university for transfer credit. We encourage students to see all the programs and destinations available to students at the OISS website: kpu.ca/exchange.
KPU students who are considering going on exchange are also encouraged to meet with one of our OISS International Exchange Advisors for more information as well in order to best plan their courses both at home and abroad. There will also be a number of information sessions held about going away on exchange as part of your academic studies beginning in the Fall term.
Students from KPU partner universities interested in coming to KPU on exchange should apply through their home university's international office.
Students who wish to attend KPU as a visiting student, who are registered at a non-partner university are welcome to apply by following the instructions for "visiting students" at the OISS website at kpu.ca/OISS.
International Field Schools
International Field Schools are short-term KPU faculty led programs that combine in-depth study with a hands-on international experience. Field Schools are courses offered by KPU with international travel associated with the course curriculum. Each year KPU offers several international field schools for students.
