Post Secondary Program
Readiness
All students applying for semester-based PSP English courses are
strongly advised to take the PSP English Assessment prior to
registration. If you are applying for PSP semester-based math
course(s) and do not have the required pre-requisites, you are
required to write the PSP Math Assessment.
A PSP Assessment will ensure that students register for the course
most appropriate to their skill level. Assessments are available
throughout the year. Contact Admissions for a specific assessment
date for both semester-based and continuous-intake courses. For
September entry, assessment should be done in May through
August and for January entry assessment should be done in
September through December.
Note: Placement into PSPE 1091 meets the English proficiency
requirement for open registration and selective entry programs.
Students who wish to use grade 9 or 10 courses as prerequisites
must bring an official high school transcript to Admissions when
they apply.
