Overview
A Braille embosser is available at Surrey campus library for self-serve printing. Library users may print their personal documents or material within Fair Dealing. Printing is priced per page (0.25/page), and first-time users are encouraged book an appointment to be oriented to the printer and its use. We also welcome appointments for subsequent use so there is a staff member available for orientation and troubleshooting.
Appointment Booking
To book an appointment, email libinclusion@kpu.ca. Either the EDIA Librarian or EDIA Assistant will connect with you within two business days and arrange a date and time for your appointment. You may also call the EDIA Librarian at 604-599-3236.
The printer is available to use without an appointment on a first-come, first-served basis. However, please note that troubleshooting assistance may not be available outside of appointment times.

Getting Help
Please ask for assistance at the Library's Service Desk or Research Help Desk. While the printer is available any time the library is open at Surrey campus, please be aware that there may be limited assistance during the evenings and weekends. We encourage users to make appointments to access the printer, in order for us to communicate the level of service that may be available during the time of access. One-on-one assistance is also available by appointment.
Feedback
Please provide any feedback you have about the Braille embossing and our related services. Your experience matters and may help us learn how to adjust our services to better serve our users.
